DEKRA Opens Ningbo Branch Office in China to Boost High-Quality Growth for Local Enterprises
On October 10th, DEKRA celebrated the opening of its Ningbo branch office. Mr. Stan Zurkiewicz, Chairman of the Management Board DEKRA e.V. and DEKRA SE, CEO, Ms. Candy Shen, Director of Human Resources & General Administration, East & South Asia, Mr. Roger Xia, Vice President of Consumer Testing North & East China, Mr. Allan Chen, Vice President of Central Technical Support Product Testing, Mainland China, and Mr. Lix Li, Director of EMC, Lighting & Component, North & East China, attended the ceremony.
The establishment of the Ningbo branch will provide services to customers in Zhejiang province and surrounding areas, with faster and more efficient localized services. This move aims to elevate the quality and innovation of local industries, further pushing their reach in the international market.

Situated in Ningbo High-Tech Zone, the new branch features a state-of-the-art laboratory, offering safety and EMC testing for products such as lighting, household appliances, and components. DEKRA has already provided testing and certification services to numerous manufacturers in Ningbo. With this expansion, DEKRA aims to further enhance its local capabilities, better assisting the Chinese enterprises in global market development and seizing opportunities.
