Certification Rules and Related Information Disclosure
To ensure transparency in certification activities, DEKRA publishes applicable certification rules, reference standards, scopes of application, and other related information in accordance with relevant requirements. This information is available for customers, regulatory authorities, and the public to review. It includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- CB Certification Rules: Based on the IECEE scheme and IEC international standards, applicable to type approval for household appliances, audio-visual products, electrical accessories, and more.
- DEKRA MARK Certification Rules: Based on DEKRA's proprietary certification scheme, applicable to products such as cables, plugs and sockets, and building materials, in accordance with EU and international standards.
- CE Certification Rules: Cover compliance requirements under medical device regulations such as MDR and IVDR, applicable to in vitro diagnostic devices and medical products.
- System Certification Rules: Cover environmental, quality, and industry-specific system certifications such as EN 9100, TL 9000, and IEC 62430.
The published information includes certification area, rule name, rule ID, version, issuing body, date of publication/implementation/revision, source details, as well as applicable standards or technical specifications (including their ID, issuing body, and date of publication/implementation).
