Petra Finke takes over as CDO

- From 1 July 2023, Petra Finke takes over as Chief Digitalization Officer at DEKRA SE.
- This role was newly created to accelerate digital transformation at DEKRA including development of new digital business models and digitalization of the existing service portfolio.
- Artificial intelligence (AI) and remote service delivery will revolutionize the way testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services are rendered. DEKRA intends to be at the forefront of this revolution.
- With this appointment, DEKRA underlines its clear objective of becoming the world’s leading impartial provider of TIC services in the fields of future mobility, sustainability, and cybersecurity.

DEKRA already announced this management board appointment in the beginning of April. Together with Peter Laursen, who already took over the also newly created role as Chief Operating Officer, Petra Finke completes the Board of DEKRA SE around CEO Stan Zurkiewicz and CFO Wolfgang Linsenmaier.
Petra Finke (55) joins DEKRA from Rhenus Group, where she has been working for more than 20 years in various executive positions. Most recently, she held responsibility for global IT and digitization as global CIO Rhenus Freight Logistics and successfully managed the transformation of the company’s heterogeneous IT and process landscape into a distributed, cloud-based digital ecosystem. Furthermore, in her role as CEO of Rhenus Freight Network GmbH she established the company as central IT service provider and advisor for the global network, while developing digital customer solution to optimize logistics value chains.
