DEKRA recognized as official testing company by Amazon
Sep 09, 2026DEKRA has been officially recognized as a Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company by Amazon within the Direct Product Validation (DPV) Program. Sellers at Amazon can now commission DEKRA to test or certify their products, allowing them to be distributed in specific regional markets.
Amazon’s DPV Program is designed to help ensure that products sold on Amazonmarketplaces comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements before they areoffered. Through preliminary product validation, the DPV program aims to reduce risksand accelerate market access.
Various product categories
DEKRA is now officially listed as a recognized TIC provider for numerous productcategories to be sold on the Amazon marketplace in North America and/or theEuropean Union, such as toys, clothing storage units, e-mobility, infant feedingproducts, laser products, power banks and portable power stations and productscontaining button cell and coin batteries. Additional product categories are currentlyunder evaluation and are expected to be added soon.
DEKRA’s Division Digital & Product Solutions operates a global network of state-of-theartlaboratories and certification bodies to offer a broad portfolio of product testingservices, based on national and international standards as well as industry andcustomer requirements: cybersecurity, AI, connectivity, product safety and productcertification, EMC/RF, medical devices and automotive.
