DEKRA acquires Gain Solutions Limited
DEKRA, the leading global vehicle-testing and expert organization, has acquired Gain Solutions Limited, a specialist with almost 20 years of experience in end-of-term inspections and fleet management in the UK.
“This acquisition significantly expands our capacity to perform independent end-of-term inspections in the UK, for a client base that is increasingly interested in the transparency of neutral independent vehicle appraisals”, says Clemens Klinke, DEKRA Board Member and head of the Automotive business unit.
Gain, founded in 2000, is based in Chippenham (Wiltshire) and operates throughout the UK. In addition to end-of-term inspections, Gain offers fleet management, as well as used-car coaching and training. Customers include major OEMs, banks and leasing companies. This acquisition consolidates DEKRA’s leading position in end-of-term appraisals and peace-of-mind technical inspections. Key members of the Gain management team will stay on board after the acquisition.
